Create A Prayer Habit

Sometimes we forget how much God has promised us. Today, we will focus on one of the many promises God has made to you and me. We also tend to forget that God never breaks his promises, he always follows through. You can keep God to his promises.

God promises: extravagant blessings when we’re all in for him.

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it. Malachi 3:10 NIV

Where are you holding back and not being “all in” for God?

God, I have been holding back  ____________________________.

Believe in God’s promise:

God, I am trusting you that if I give  _________________________ , you will bring  ________________________ and more than I can dream of.

Keep God to his promise and declare his words over your life:

Rich blessings overflow with every encounter I have with you, and you placed a royal crown of gold upon my head. Based on Psalm 21:3 TPT

Today’s Prayer Prompt Day 92 (aug 23)

The Bible instructs us: When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer. Matthew 5:44 MSG

Why does the Bible tell us to pray about our challenging relationships? What difference can prayer make to a relationship that is out of sync? When we turn to prayer, we allow God to enter into the brokenness and bring healing.

1 Corinthians 13:4 says: Love does not…inflate its own importance.

Today, pray for a relationship which is damaged by pride.

Unhealthy pride in a relationship is where a person thinks he/she is better than the other person, or stubbornly believes his/her way of doing things is right and in the process hurts the other person.

Lord God, I pray for my relationship with _______________________.

Lord, this is where it has gone wrong: ________________________. Help me to understand ________________________.

Bring healthy change so  __________________. Lord, forgive me for ______________. Help me to _____________________.

Finish by remembering these words:

Pride leads to disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 (NLT)
