Being Fully Known

The Invitation

This week, we forget image management. In a world where we often feel misread, misunderstood, or forced to perform, we turn our gaze to the ultimate intimacy: being completely known by God, yet completely secure in His embrace.

O Lord, you have searched me and you know me… You are familiar with all my ways (Psalm 139:1, 3).

A Prayer

Lord, I praise you today as the One who knows me through and through. I spend so much energy trying to wear the right mask, explain my intentions, and hide my messy pieces from the world. But I stand in awe of your perfect knowledge of my soul. You see the motives behind my actions, the unspoken hurts I carry, and the hidden beauty no one else notices.

Thank you that your perfect knowledge of my flaws does not diminish your perfect love for my heart. Today, I rest in the immense relief of being entirely known, fully seen, and completely loved by the Creator of my soul. I have nothing to hide and nothing to prove in your presence. Amen.

The Practice

This week, notice the intimate-awe. Sit in silence for sixty seconds with your hands open on your lap. Look up and say aloud to your soul: “The One who knows everything about me, loves me anyway. I can drop the mask today.”

The Blessing

May you walk this week with a wonderfully light heart, knowing you never have to explain your true self to the One who designed you.
