The Bible commands us to “not be afraid,” “fear not” and other variations over 300 times. There is said to be one command for each day of the year.
The Bible also tells us: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. Philippians 4:6 TLB
If you are fearful and worried — about opposition.
God says:
Even if you have to suffer for doing good things, God will bless you. So stop being afraid and don’t worry about what people might do. 1 Peter 3:14 CEV
Are you afraid of other people who are intimidating you? Tell God your worries and needs:
Heavenly Father, I am worried about ______________________________. I am in need of __________________________.
As you do the right thing, ask God to protect you so you are not troubled and upset. Lord God, give me strength to ________________________. Save me from _________________________.
Thank God for one thing:
Lord, I thank you for __________________________________.
