Create A Prayer Habit

Intercessory prayer might be defined as loving our neighbors on our knees – Charles Bent

The Bible is full of examples of people praying for others. We are going to follow their example to pray for people in our lives. As 1 Timothy 2:1 (CEV) says: First of all, I ask you to pray for everyone. Ask God to help and bless them all, and tell God how thankful you are for each of them.

Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the Lord give you children by this woman to take the place of the one she prayed for and gave to the Lord.” Then they would go home. 1 Samuel 2:20

Today, pray for those who have lost a child.

Ask God to help and bless friends or family::

  • who have lost a child through illness or an accident.
  • who have not had contact with or spoken to their child for a long time.
  • who have been separated from their child.

Thank God for one thing concerning this child.
