Create A Prayer Habit

Intercessory prayer might be defined as loving our neighbors on our knees – Charles Bent

The Bible is full of examples of people praying for others. We are going to follow their example to pray for people in our lives. As 1 Timothy 2:1 (CEV) says: First of all, I ask you to pray for everyone. Ask God to help and bless them all, and tell God how thankful you are for each of them.

Also work for the success of the city I have sent you to. Pray to the Lord for that city. If it succeeds, you too will enjoy success. Jeremiah 29:7 NIRV

Pray for the city, town or community in which you live.

Ask God to help and bless your city, town or community:

  • For it to be a safe place to live.
  • For businesses to thrive and offer employment.
  • For it to be a caring community.
  • For concern for the environment.

Thank God for one thing about your city, town or community.
